“Chamber Connect” introduces you to other Chamber members on a one to one basis. This program provides the opportunity to develop trusted long-term relationships, widen your circle of influence, and meet a variety of Chamber members on a monthly basis.
HOW IT WORKS
- Chamber connect is a FREE benefit as a member of the Greater Wayzata Area Chamber of Commerce.
- A new introduction will be emailed to participants on a monthly basis.
- Each participant will reach out to each other to arrange a mutually convenient place and time to meet.

EmpowHER Women’s Network Overview
In the EmpowHER Women’s Network, we believe in the immense value that women bring to the Chamber of Commerce. Our purpose is to foster a supportive and empowering community where women can engage in peer-led mentorship by providing a safe space, which allows them to feel heard and receive advice and feedback. The EmpowHER Women’s Network is dedicated to making a difference by cultivating an environment where women thrive, excel, and contribute meaningfully to the growth and success of our community and beyond.
HOW IT WORKS
- Programming includes four 90-minute luncheons each year with peer-led roundtable discussions on a variety of topics curated by the group.
- A fun summer activity and other volunteer opportunities will be available for participants to build friendships and community good will.
- Other “stay connected” get-togethers will take place between luncheon programs on an ad hoc basis led by members of the group

Ambassador Overview
The Chamber’s Ambassador Group is a fun way to welcome new members and celebrate Ribbon Cuttings for our new businesses. Grow your network while getting to know more about these great business leaders.
HOW IT WORKS
- Ambassadors represent the Chamber and serve as the embodiment of its mission, vision, and values.
- Welcome Visits & Ribbon Cutting Celebrations are normally held on Tuesdays, and occasionally on Thursdays, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.
- Ambassadors receive calendar invites and reminders to attend the events that best fit into their schedules.
Minnetonka Business Council Overview
The Greater Wayzata Area Chamber invites you to participate in the Minnetonka Business Council in partnership with the City of Minnetonka. The purpose is to strengthen ties between Minnetonka business leaders and the City, to foster a thriving and prosperous business community now and in the future.
Minnetonka business professional or business owners are welcome. The group will meet quarterly during the year, alternating breakfasts and lunches. There is no fee, and you do not need to be a Chamber member to attend. There is separate online registration for each event.
HOW IT WORKS
- Programming includes four 90-minute get-togethers to connect with other Minnetonka business leaders and build strong relationships with key city leaders, learning about programs to help businesses start, grow and thrive.
- The group will meet at the 601 Carlson Tower in the lower level training room. Parking is free.
- In the summer, there will be an opportunity to take a tour(s) of innovative businesses/manufacturing facilities. Company leaders will share insights into their business and the impact they are having beyond Minnesota.
- A light breakfast or lunch will be provided by a local Minnetonka restaurant/caterer at each event
