French Cabaret Night
Saturday, January 6, 2024; 7:00 p.m.
For one night only, Blue Water Theatre Company in downtown Wayzata will be transformed into a Parisian café. How? Through the talents of these three musicians.
Francine Roche, vocalist. Originally from Québec, Francine loves to sing, especially in her native French. Now a long-term resident of the Twin Cities, she teaches French at the Alliance Française school. She has recorded several CDs and looks forward to sharing her passion for all things French with you at Blue Water Theatre Company's intimate setting.
Mark Stillman, accordion. As the Twin Cities' most popular accordionist, Mark’s credentials are as numerous as they are diverse. Prairie Home Companion, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. . . even Minnesota Vikings football games have all benefited from Mark’s musical gifts.
Jim Price, violin and mandolin. A composer and performer, Jim studied at the University of Minnesota and Indiana University. Inspired by the famous French musician, Stéphane Grappelli, Jim’s playing provides the perfect complement to Mark’s accordion and Francine’s voice.
Take a walk along the shores of Lake Minnetonka, enjoy a romantic dinner at one of many fine Wayzata restaurants, and then cap off the evening in a French cabaret. See you on January 6, 2024.
Please contact the box office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 952-855-9147 if a member of your party needs accessible seating.
Wayzata Musicales is a concert series jointly sponsored by the Budnick-Williams Scholarship Fund and Blue Water Theatre Company.
