Mr. Dahl has served for over 15 years in local governments, specializing in Community Development and Administration.  He has been the City Manager for the City of Wayzata for nearly four years where he manages a $18 million dollar budget and 60+ full time/ 100+ part time staff.

He has a collaborative leadership style that is built on trust and relationship building in and outside the community. His previous roles were as an intern with the City of Woodbury, Planning and Administration with the City of Osseo, and Economic Development and Administration with the City of Chaska.

In addition, he has sat on various committees and continues to play an active role in the community especially with homelessness, youth mentorship, and adults with special needs.
