Flying Pancake Breakfast

Guests will “catch ‘em if they can” pancakes tossed from the grill at the historic Wayzata Depot. Breakfast will be from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and is $9.00 (cash or checks only) at the door. USA Veterans eat free. A short ceremony and flag-raising, including a rifle salute, will be conducted.

Broadway Kiddie Parade & Mini Olympics

The Broadway Kiddie Parade will take place at 10:00 a.m. on the corner of Park Street and Broadway Avenue. Kids need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to participate. Please do not bring any battery operated or motorized vehicles to the event.

The Wayzata Fire Department will once again sponsor the annual Mini Olympics for kids at the Wayzata West Middle School football field. The events, starting at 12:30 p.m., include a softball throw, running races, and the running broad jump. Events for children four and under include running races and penny hunting.
