A NOTE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR
Hello Chamber Members!
Happy November! Can you believe we are already here? The official kick off to the holiday season, wrapping up another crazy year and deep into planning for the next.
Thanks to everyone who was able to attend the Person of the Year luncheon to celebrate our very own, Steve Langsdale. What a touching and memorable event for all. In addition, I hope you had the chance to welcome and congratulate a few of our new and existing members this month during their ribbon cutting and Ambassador visits.
This past Saturday, Lake Street was filled with witches, ghouls, goblins and runners for the Boo Blast and Boo Bash Dash. Once again, another amazing event, in conjunction with the Wayzata Sailing, to celebrate the holiday weekend. Thank you to the participants, fans, and sponsors for another successful year!
The Board will be holding our annual planning retreat this month as we gather to discuss, strategize and plan for the year(s) ahead. Do you have a topic or idea you would like the Board to discuss? Please reach out to me or the Chamber staff directly and we would be happy to add to the agenda.
If you have not done so recently, check out the packed calendar on the Chamber’s website and add this month’s can’t-miss events to your calendar. The Sip, Shop & Support event on Thursday, November 18th at Sears Imported Autos. We also invite you to attend this month’s welcome visits and for a family friendly event, Light Up the Lake tree lighting festival! For more information and to register, head to the Chamber website.
In closing, I hope as you begin (and for many, finish!) your holiday shopping, that you prioritize and support our Chamber member businesses this (and every) year. Our community is so strong and positive. Let’s continue to support those that make it such a special organization to belong!
Enjoy!
