A NOTE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR
Hello Chamber Members,
I hope you’ve all enjoyed the beautiful March weather we had this April. Hopefully, we can experience some June weather this May.
Regardless of the weather, things are heating up at the Chamber office. We’re so excited to have Judy Johnson as our new Membership Director, Anna Skemp as our new Communications and Member Events Coordinator, as well as our new summer intern. It’s been a busy couple of months and the Depot is getting crowded! I’ve written before about how fortunate this Chamber is to have such an amazing staff, and adding new team members only makes them stronger.
I hope you’ll join us at the State of the City Luncheon this May 11. This is always a fun and informative event, and a good chance to hear about the changes and happenings in Wayzata.
Looking ahead, make sure that you sign up for the Roger Miller Golf Classic which is at a new course this year. We’ll be at Burl Oaks on June 6, which is earlier than in previous years, so make sure you get it on your calendar and get a team together.
I can also confidently say that it will be warmer in late June than it is now, so make sure you mark down June 25th and 26th for the Wayzata Art Experience. Volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are still available for this event so come be a part of this great annual event.
Happy May to you all, hope to see you at a Chamber event soon.
