A NOTE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR
Hello Chamber Members,
I hope you all had an amazing time at the Wayzata Art Experience. It felt so good to be back on Lake Street for a big community event. Thanks so much to our wonderful volunteers for the effort they put in. Special shoutout to the weather that really gave us a great weekend!
Thanks as well to everyone who played in the Roger Miller Golf Classic. It’s been years since we’ve been to Burl Oaks, and it was the first time holding it in June. The day worked out great! I rode the coattails of my team to score surprisingly well.
July features our Annual Member Picnic at Klapprich Park. Come enjoy great food and drinks (and ice cream!), and bring the whole family. Can you hit mini-basketballs over a snowfence with a wooden baseball bat? If so, make sure you sign up a team of three to participate in the home run derby by emailing info@wayzatachamber.com. Don’t ask me who first came up with the idea to hit mini-basketballs, but trust me, it’s a lot of fun.
Thanks for your continued support of all our chamber members, who range all over the Twin Cities. Make sure you fill out an exceptional service award if you have a great experience with a chamber business.
Happy July!

SkyBrothers Paragliding was recently featured in Lake Minnetonka Magazine. “I would guess that 99.9 percent of Minnesotans would say you can’t [paraglide in these parts], but you can and we’ve been doing it for year.” – Alex Peterson, SkyBrothers Paragliding.
Congrats to Chamber Member Beth Ulrich who was recently named 8th Individual by Sales Volume in Minnesota on America’s Best Real Estate Professional 2022 list. Fantastic accomplishment! You can view the full listing here.
