A NOTE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR

Hello Chamber Members,

As January ends, we reflect on how we return to our new normal. While we still have uncertainty around inflation, labor shortages, and resilient Covid-19, we see the community returning to enjoy live events. Perhaps it’s pent-up demand, but as I mentioned last month, we had a record sell-out of the Wayzata Chilly Open Golf spots! With such a demand, we added another nine holes and some Last Chance Tickets! Click here to snag a Last Chance Ticket. There are many ways to enjoy this festival of fun! Tickets are available for the BRAND NEW Friday night Pre Par-Tee event featuring music by High & Mighty, food trucks, and refreshments at the 19th Hole Tent. Limited tickets available: $10 cover pre-sale or $15 at the door. I hope to see you there!

On February 16th, we host our second installment of the Leadership Luncheon series. Join us to hear from two leading experts on brand management, crisis management, and how to take steps to ensure you have a strong brand strategy in place. Our speakers will also discuss what to do when crisis communications are needed and how to navigate through challenging times. You will come away with practical information to use in your business or organization as you think about your own brand management! Click here to register. We  recently dropped our 2023 Experience Wayzata Guide. There are plenty of members featured in the Wayzata Experience Guide who have gift options to help you celebrate those you love this Valentines Day! Let’s all support our chamber members. The 39th Annual Wayzata Chilly Open is NEXT WEEK!

What started as a small crazy idea on how to have a little fun during the coldest month of the year has evolved into one of Minnesota’s most unique winter events. We are looking forward to hosting 2,000 golfers, in Vegas themed costumes and bar sleds, hitting tennis balls with hockey sticks and tee ball bats. 36-hole sponsors will decorate and host four-9-hole courses. The sold out tournament is happening Saturday, join us for the Pre Par-Tee Friday night! See all the fun that’s taking place HERE!
