A NOTE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR
Chamber members,
Well, here we are. It’s October already and the start of Fall. October marks the shift in weather, the vibrant colors of changing leaves, and the chance to dig out those cozy sweaters and bake our beloved apple pies.
It also marks the annual announcement of the Chamber’s Person Of The Year. We are thrilled to celebrate Gina Holman, Founding Partner of J. Carver Distillery, as the 2024 recipient! Please mark your calendar and join us for the Chamber Person of the Year Luncheon on Thursday, October 10, at 11:30 am at the Wayzata Country Club. Click here to register and join us as we celebrate Gina.
Then join us on Saturday, October 26 for a spooktacular race in downtown Wayzata – Boo Bash Dash! Choose from fun races, including the 10K, 5K, and the competitive Lake Street Mile. Plus, don’t miss the Family Fun Run down Lake Street! Click here to register and choose your challenging distance. Registration by Tuesday, October 15 guarantees a t-shirt. There are also great sponsorships available for Boo Bash Dash! Make an incredible impact and reach out today to see how you can get involved.
Keep your eyes on the Chamber Events Calendar for upcoming member opportunities and fantastic events, including the New Member Orientation on Tuesday, October 22, at Luce Line Brewing. See you soon!
