Hello Chamber Members,

August is known for many things, including National Smile Week. I am hoping to give you a reason to smile by sharing all the great events that are going on at the Chamber!

On August 22, join us for Breakfast with U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar. The Chamber is honored to host a breakfast and conversation with U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar where she will share key aspects of her work in Congress on the business climate and economic competitiveness of our nation and state. Attendees will also get a chance to dig deeper to learn more about issues impacting the business community on several key issues she is spearheading in Washington D.C. This is a member-only event as space is limited. 

Summer may be winding down but the Chamber Networking opportunities are not! Come connect with other members on August 24 for Libations by the Lake at Lord Fletcher’s Wharf. The newly renovated Lord Fletcher’s Wharf will be the perfect environment to connect while sipping on cool libations, and enjoying all the season has to offer on beautiful Lake Minnetonka!  

We are gearing up for our biggest event of the year, James J. Hill Days on September 8 – 10! James J. Hill contributed significantly to transforming Wayzata into the beautiful tourist location and the wonderful community we know today. There’s so much fun to be had throughout the weekend! From Rails & Ales Craft Beer Festival to Dachshund Races, and so much more. And guess what? A little birdie told me Wayzata Beach Bash is back and there’s going to be some exciting entertainment.
