A NOTE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR
Hello Chamber Members,
This month brings beauty in all forms, from flowers to sunlight. As we head into summer, we celebrate Dad, the environment, the Flag, and Pride month. With the start of planting season, I am reminded of my favorite Dad joke, “What did the Corn Cobb say when it received a compliment? Aww Shucks!” I know that’s pretty corn-y! Make sure to celebrate Dad at one of our member restaurants or shops!
There are three Ribbon Cutting Celebrations coming up this month! On June 13, from 4-5 pm, join us for a Ribbon Cutting Celebration for SOUL Ballroom at their new location in Plymouth. On June 15, attend LAK Med Spa’s Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Celebration at their new location at 4 pm. They will have raffle drawings, food & drinks, a DJ and more! Friday, June 30 at 10 am, we celebrate Comcast’s launch of Xfinity and Comcast Business services throughout Wayzata.
Time for some fun summer networking on the new Brewhouse patio at Birch’s on the Lake. Wayzata Area Chamber’s Libations by the Lake is from 4 – 6 pm. This is a great opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones.
The Wayzata Art Experience is happening on the shores of Wayzata Bay June 23-25. Kick off summer with this festival featuring NEW and exciting events combined with fan favorite activities to make this weekend the ultimate summer celebration. Take a look at all the fun coming up!
We thank all of our sponsors and as a reminder we are always seeking volunteers. The warm weather is here and it’s an ideal time to get outside and help out your community. Click here to become a super cool volunteer
Have a tree-mendous June! We hope to see you at any or all of these events!
