Dig It

Dress for the weather and prepare to have fun! It's time for the third annual Dig-It event on Saturday, May 19 when volunteers will plant the City flower gardens on Lake Street and Wayzata Blvd. This popular city event starts with coffee, donuts, and training at Public Works building at 8:30 a.m. (8 a.m. for Crew chiefs). Planting should be completed long before noon that day, rain or shine! If you would like to participate, please contact Jan Himan at 952.473.0740.

Wayzata Crime Prevention Coalition Spring Community Picnic

Join the Wayzata Crime Prevention Coalition at the Wayzata Depot to welcome summer and meet our crime prevention leaders! Tuesday, May 22, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Police Chief Risvold will speak at 6:30 with an update on current events and efforts of the Wayzata Police Dept. Hot dogs, chips, cookies and water will be provided. Donations welcome! McGruff the Crime Dog will even be makin an appearance!
