This year, the annual Candy Cane Hunt the day of will be for children up to 5 years old only. Children ages 6-12 are encouraged to participate in the brand new Candy Cane Medallion Hunt around town the week of the event! Clues will be posted online on wayzata.org and wayzatachamber.com and on social media!  Watch for clues November 21 – 25. The winner of the medallion hunt will win the honor of lighting the community tree and town on November 25th with Mayor Mouton at 6 PM. 

Clue #1: The 1st annual Candy Cane Medallion is tucked away in one of Wayzata’s many public places to meet and stay awhile. Only to be found by one lucky child!
Clue #2: Huddled low beneath the arches, the medallion can be found. You might have to get a bit low to the ground! 
Clue #3: Through a picturesque frame, the location can be seen. The medallion is hiding under one of 14! 
Clubs #4: We hope your search so far has been fun, the medallion is straight across from a place built in 1941. 

Update: The medallion has been found! Congrats to the lucky winners!
