Enjoy a dog day in Wayzata with fun pooch-friendly activities all around town.  Be sure to pick up your Puppy Passport in early June at any participating merchant to navigate through Wayzata’s Shopping and Dining areas, participate in fun activities throughout the day including a Puppy Play Area, Pet Portraits, a Dog Agility Course and don’t miss the Doggy Fashion Show!  You can also enter a drawing to win prize gift baskets!

The 5 main "PAW" stops have dog-friendly activities from 11am - 3pm.  Event volunteers, information and water will be available at each stop.

Wayzata Depot: 402 E Lake Street
12:30pm: Meet the Legendary C.J. - The Coast Guard Dog.  Hear her speak over 60 words & answer safety questions.  Learn about boat safety. C.J. has helped over 50,000 kids and parents learn about life jackets and safe boating. She has appeared on Disney radio and local television. 1:30pm: C&E Agility Course - Watch a  Nationally Competing Agility Team run the Agility Course!  Your Dog can pick up some pointers and try the course themselves!
Post Office Park: 200 Block of Minnetonka Avenue
Camp Bow Wow is putting on a great selection of fun activities including a hot "dog" eating contest and "doggie" pools to help cool off your pet from  the sizzling summer sun!
Lake Street: Bone Adventure Parking Lot - 726 E Lake Street Dog (warm water) Wash for Homeward Bound Rescue. Sojourner Farms demos how you can create dog & cat food right at home! Join Bone Adventure in "What does it feel like to be your dog?" Play around with Just Paws Puppy Training in the Puppy Play Area.
Wayzata Village Shoppes: South Side of 800 Block E Lake Street Pet Haven Animal Adoption, activities for kids, FREE snow cones  and popcorn, caricatures by Adnan Shati. Doggie Fashion Show: Watch Lulu and her furry friends model summer apparel throughout the day.
Wayzata Bay Center North Side of 800 Block E Lake Street
Puppy portrauts: Stop by the Wayzata Bay Center to get your four-legged friend photographed.  The Doggie Salon will also be hosting Midwest Pug Rescue at the Wayzata Bay Center.  They will be onsite promoting Pug adoption.  Buy pet merchandise and a percent of sales will go to Pug Rescue.  Nail trims will be available for $5.
